Kaira is currently a Junior at Bedford High School where is has earned a 3.4 grade point average.

As a freshman, she qualified for both the indoor and outdoor state meets. Indoors, she finished 7th in the 60 meter dash. She qualified for the outdoor state meet in both the 100 and the 200, placing 10th and 12th.

Last season as a sophomore, she finished 7th in the 60 meter dash at the indoor state championships. She once again qualified in both the 100 and 200 at the Outdoor State Championships, where she earned all-Ohio status twice with a 5th place finish in the 100 with a time of 12.21 and a 7th place finish in the 200 with a time of 24.89.

This year she is currently ranked #5 in the state for the 60 meter dash and 5th in the 200 with Indoor PR times of 7.69 in the 60 and 25.48 in 200.

She is coached by Bedford Head Coach Eugene Sanders.
